We meet you at Lima´s airport and transfer you to your hotel in Miraflores, where you are free to relax and wander around at your own pace. Depending on the arrival time we have plenty of suggestions for you so you can make the most of your first day in Lima.

After an early breakfast we´ll have a short drive to the airport to take our 55 minute flight to the city of Cusco. If possible we will try to get a seat on the left side of the aircraft as some of the best views of the Andes can be seen from here. Once in Cusco airport, we´ll meet one of our representatives who will take us in a private shuttle to our hotel. The morning is free to acclimatize to the altitude. Later in the afternoon we´ll strap on our walking shoes as we prepare for a soft hike around Cusco’s Historical City Centre and surrounding countryside! During this three hour activity, we´ll walk and in some cases use the local transportation to visit traditional markets and neighborhoods in Cusco´s colonial side. This hike is the perfect way to get a more authentic feel of this amazing city and its people. Discover the magic of Cusco.

After breakfast, we´ll meet our guide who will take us on a tour through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first stop en route is Awanacancha where we can see different camelid species of the Peruvian Andes. Then we´ll visit the archaeological complex of Pisac and have free time to wander around the colourful Indian market, where a variety of handicrafts are available. After this, we´ll drive to Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch, followed by a guided tour through the giant Ollantaytambo fortress, which is one of the best examples of Inca architecture in the World.

Today is the big day! We take the Vistadome train, which provides a spectacular view on the way to Aguas Calientes. Then we take a bus up the steep zigzagging road to Machu Picchu located on an impressive mountain setting. Once at the citadel we take a private guided tour to explore every corner of the "Lost City of the Incas". Afterwards we have time to wander around Machu Picchu by ourselves walking through temples, palaces and living quarters. In the afternoon we return by train to Cusco.

Today you will have a free day to explore Cusco by your own. Optional activities available.
We are picked up from our hotel and transferred to the airport to take our flight to Lima. Upon arrival to Lima we continue with our connecting flight to Quito or Guayaquil. Once in Ecuador we are welcomed and transferred to our hotel. We have the rest of the day free to relax or explore the city by ourselves.

Today we go on a colonial city tour to explore the best of Quito city located across a spectacular Andean Valley and flanked by volcanic peaks. We walk through narrow and bustling streets, beautiful squares and parks. We visit the downtown of Quito, one of the largest historical old towns in the Americas, also named as a Unesco World Heritage Site. Finally, we visit the middle of the World Complex marking the equator on latitude 0 - 0´ -0´´ and where we can stand with one foot in the Northern Hemisphere and another foot on the Southern hemisphere. If we are in Guayaquil also known as the Pearl of the Pacific we visit the largest river of Ecuador, Guayas and Malecon 2000 which will ensure us to know the history of the port city. We visit the clock tower and the Rotonda monument dedicated to Bolivar and San Martin leaders of the South American Independence. We continue to the archaeological museum of the Central Bank that will transport us to some of the most ancient cultures of the Americas. Afterwards we visit the “Iguana Park” and the botanical garden to observe some of the flora and fauna of the area.

After an early breakfast we depart to the airport to take a domestic 02 hours flight to Baltra airport in the Galapagos Islands. Once here we are welcomed by our nature guides and taken on a ten minute bus drive to the pier to board our deluxe cruise. We sail on charming vessels with nautical wood and brass interior decor. The ample outer decks and ocean view cabins allow us to observe amazing landscapes. In the afternoon we trek through the highlands of Santa Cruz observing the famous giant tortoises in their natural habitat, we also walk inside surprising lava tubes and visit the impressive pit craters.

Today we arrive to Egas Port, most of the landscape consists of layers of rocks and lava flows. This area is good for spotting and observing great blue herons, lava herons and the yellow– crowned night herons. You can swim and snorkel at this beach in search of octopuses, sea horses, starfish and other sea life. The salt mines are an important historic spot because of salt exploitation. In the afternoon we continue to San Bartolome. After a hike to the summit we’ll be impressed by the view of the eroded tuff cone called Pinnacle Rock. We have time for snorkeling and lots of opportunities to see Galapagos penguins, sea turtles, among a great variety of colorful fish schools.

Today we disembark and take a short hike to a lagoon where normally a high number of pink flamingos can be observed. Then we continue the trail up to Dragon Hill, which offers a lovely view of the bay. This area is a nesting site for reintroduced land iguana, thanks to the Charles Darwin Research Station. Afterwards we continue sailing heading North Seymour Island, one of the few uplifted islands of the Galapagos. In the afternoon we have a dry landing in the Island, a site which is a major nesting colony of blue-footed boobies, and has the largest colony of the magnificent frigate bird. Of course we also get to encounter sea lions.

In the morning we are transferred to the airport of Baltra. Here you will have the opportunity to see some ground finches, pelicans, frigate birds and the sea lions. We will then board our flight heading to Quito or Guayaquil. We are received and taken to our hotel in the city. After 4 days and 3 nights sailing through the Galapagos Islands we are back on mainland. Free afternoon to relax at our hotel.
