This half-day program is great for people who want to enjoy an interactive activity
in Lima learning more about the local culture and the Peruvian cuisine.
Our program is in private service and professional chefs to young kids are welcome
to enjoy this entertaining way to experience our city.
They say that one of the best ways to understand countries culture is though its local cuisine! In our case this could be more true! Our local cusine is part of our identity.
Today, at the coordinated time we'll visit a traditional market to taste some typical Peruvian fruits and appreciate the various fish species available in our rich pacific shores. After, we’ll see the otherside of Lima and visit a modern supermarket with an entirely different range of products that are also part Lima’s cuisine. Next, we'll continue to a well-known restaurant where Gonzalo, our top chef, will show us his secrets and gives us a masterly presentation of how to make a “Ceviche”. We'll not only try this delicious dish, but also prepare some traditional Peruvian recipes such as "Lomo Saltado" and "Causa". Moreover, you will be able test your bartending abilities by preparing our emblematic Peruvian cocktail, “Pisco Sour”.
Ideally (unless otherwise requested), we’ll make this a walking tour so we have a chance to get to know Miraflores’ beautiful surroundings during our activity. The activity finishes around 3pm, so we’ll have plenty of time to continue exploring other interesting sites in Lima.
