This year and although it was a tough year for a small company that is just starting, we wanted to keep the tradition of our Christmas event. So this year we didn’t travel to a remote area but decided to celebrate Christmas in a small school on the outskirts of Lima.
About 45 kids welcomed us in their lovely school in the desert of Pachacamac. Living in a desert area is quite a challenge and we were pleasantly surprised by the education kids receive at this school and how the teachers motivate them to get involved in small projects for sustainable use of water. The school was fully adorned with paintings and phrases about the importance of taking care of water and a harmonious relationship between man and nature. We could also observe how each kid had the responsibility of watering one plant at the school.
After some time playing in the yard, and some refreshing juices and snacks it was time for the most expected moment of the day: The arrival of Santa Claus.
Of course, like each year, all the kids were really excited and happy to share a few moments with Santa who brought beautiful toys and school supplies for the kids and for the school.
Thanks, Guayabo School for letting us be part of this Christmas with you!
Thanks to all our friends and family for their constant support and making this possible.
See you next year!
