The Belmond Casitas is one of our favorite places to stay in the Colca canyon. This luxury hotel is located 5 miles from the Chivay and near Yanque Town, a fantastic location surrounded by beautiful views of the valley.
Rooms
Belmond Las Casitas offers 20 air-conditioned rooms accessible via exterior corridors. They have casitas with garden view, valley view, and presidential casita.
The casitas have a cozy but luxurious charm, and all of them are decorated with Peruvian elements. Those incredible rooms feature private pools and spa tubs right in the privacy of your own room. Private bathrooms include separate bathtubs and showers with deep soaking bathtubs and rainfall showerheads.
Common areas
Belmond Casitas have beautiful private patios, an excellent spa that offers a wide range of massage therapies, and a pool. The hotel’s lounge, featuring the dining and reception area, is a detached structure that boasts fantastic views. Another great experience is visiting the vegetable garden with a little farm, the house of horses, pigs, baby alpacas, and guinea pigs.
Dining
The Curiña restaurant offers various typical dishes of the Peruvian Andes, prepared with products grown in the garden. This restaurant will be a delightful experience. The dining room at this hotel is comfortable and spacious. You can eat on the outdoor terrace where you will have views of the canyon and mountains. Here you will try a local cooking style with local ingredients coming from our gardens to the table.
Belmond Casitas also has a great Bar Puccq’io, where you will find extensive national and international drinks.

- Don’t forget to go out at night during the dry season and appreciate the Milky Way in this part of the hemisphere.
